Presentation Synopsis: Technical Data is one aspect of any project/organisation that is often misunderstood and overlooked. Many assume that success comes from the talent of the workers, but that success will be limited if the backbone, the technical data, is mismanaged, misaligned, and has no integrity. Many organisations fail to realise the importance of proper data management, and what is "good data" vs "bad data." |
Speaker Biography: Jessica Reid has over 15 years’ experience in technical data management/configuration control within the Naval Defense Industry in both new construction and in-service support. She is a volunteer for PMINS in the capacity of Digital Content Creator, and currently works for Irving Shipbuilding Inc. as a Configuration Management Specialist.
Jessica possesses w Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from Western University, as well as the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. She is currently working towards her CMPIC certification. |
