Sanjay Khanna has knowledge of Blockchain by engaging with companies globally and collaborating with a BankChain Consortium Founder in India. By combining his expertise on knowledge sharing and collaboration with Blockchain, he will provide information on how and why Consortiums are bringing together competitors to work together to evolve their businesses and create tangible benefits of the blockchain. Sanjay will provide an overview of Blockchain, capabilities and discuss different Blockchain consortiums that are business and technology focused. Sanjay will provide examples of existing blockchain companies from different industries (i.e. real estate, banks, auto, retail, cannabis) discuss their objectives, results and outcomes. He will also discuss how Canada's superclusters can integrate blockchain to increase collaboration and align objectives. Andrew Trudel is both a marketer for companies in the decentralized finance space and a co-founder of a cryptocurrency investing tool. He has attended both the largest blockchain accelerator, ConsenSys’ Tachyon, and the largest blockchain hackathon, EthereumDenver, in the world. By positioning his career at the center of the blockchain space, he has gained a tremendous amount of insight into the emerging opportunities being fostered by this new industry. Andrew will share his experiences and provide information on how professionals can develop careers in the blockchain sector.
