Call For Speakers - Presentations, Case Studies, and Mini Panels

The Professional Development Summit is an event that is a collaborative approach to increasing our regions competitive advantage: a highly skill ICT workforce. Offering education and professional development to ICT Professionals including members of CIPS, CMC, DNS, IIBA, PMI.
The event is expected to draw over 200 attendees and up to 50 people in individual sessions. You will be given a 60 minute time slot, its expected you will provide a 45-50 minute presentation/workshop and then leave 10 minutes for Q&A. Format of your presentation is up to you however we need to make sure that the topic you are presenting is relevant to our audience and that you have clear defined takeaways from each session that the audience will leave with after attending your session.
There are a number of ways you can present:
Again, this year, our program will offer a few track dedicated to new Technologies and Innovation in addition to our usual tracks on Management and Leadership.
Selection of Presenters
Once the Call for Speakers is closed our committee will work to solidify the program and will notify the presenters.
Speakers will receive a FREE pass for the full day.

Innovation and Technology Tracks
We know there are hot topics around innovation and new technologies that will transform our industries for the next 3-5 years. We would like to invite any technology vendors and specialists to come and share how we need to be prepared to address tomorrow's challenges. Come and share your knowledge of best practices with other industry professionals at this year's event with clear defined takeaways from each session.
Sample topics of interest for the Innovation and Technology track might include:
Management and Leadership Tracks
We know there are hot topics around leading edge IT trends or IT Management topics. Come and share your knowledge of best practices and experience with other industry professionals at this year's event with clear defined takeaways from each session.
Sample topics of interest for the Leadership and Management track might include:

- Case study where Lessons learned are presented from previous experiences
- Panel discussing/debating a specific topic that includes yourself along with a minimum of two additional speakers
