Is There a Best 'Style' of Managing Projects?
Presentation Synopsis: There is confusion in the profession around how best to use formal methods, tools and processes in managing projects. There is also confusion about the use of certain types of project management (e.g. traditional vs. agile) and styles of managing (e.g. authoritative, transactional, collaborative, etc.).
Goal is to shed some light on these topics from my 35 years successfully managing complex projects and teams.
Key Message: Use 'Guides' as guides!
Anyone involved in projects in any way should benefit from this one hour investment.
